Welcome to my new blog. My name is Karla and I'm the teacher-author behind Really Reading. I've been a reading teacher for the past 20 years. During that time I've worked with struggling readers in grades K-5. Most of my time has been spent working with students in K-2, but for the past five years, I have been working with students in kindergarten through fifth grade. My days are jammed packed and challenging, but I truly love what I do.
I'm so glad you've stopped by, and I hope to be able to share some posts about my classroom adventures with you.
